occasion: THE ROCK SHOW
a gigroo arranged by andy wu minett of our very own, very lovely FORT SPAIN!! (andy is the bassist, george robinson is on drums (and usually has some amusing outfits) and zed-z (chris zanelli) is the lead singer/guitarist) playing the rock show were fort spain of course, the revolution and colt 45 (i didnt know this but my old friend owen is the drummer of colt! hmm)
whenever i hear of the band colt 45 i go off on one! "colt 45 and two zig-zags, baby thats all we need, we can go to the park after dark yeah smoke tht jungle weed and as the marijuana burns we can take our turn, singin them dirty rap songs......" yeahh
well in my opinion the gig was a great sucess!! i really liked fort spains cover of time to waste but was disappointed that they didnt play private eye. either that or i missed it :( i wonder if they played lazy boy 500? or did i miss that too? god if they did play them and i missed them then i suck muchly!!
colt 45 did a good set. they played a song saying it was a tribute to fort spain, and also one to ella fearon bless her.....she got embarrassed :P i liked their style of music. though i got whiplash from trying to headbang along with brad reed, david "davekore" rutherford and nathan broadhurst. my neck still hurts now and its nearly monday :O work will be hell tomorrow. i just know it. i also liked colts version of teenage kicks. that was good. i was jumping around and singing along....probably looked insane. oh wells nothing new there.
